Motorcycle Adventure
Your own bike. A small group. Some of the world's great roads.
You ride. We've got your back.
A Large Minority Motorcycle Adventure is a supported small-group ride through places most people only see from a bus window. You get your own bike for the whole trip, a route built around roads worth riding, and hand-picked stays with real character.
Your own bike
One bike per rider, chosen for the terrain. You can also bring a pillion passenger along for the ride if you know anyone who dares.
Small groups
Groups are kept small on purpose, so the ride never feels like a crowd.
Independent but not unsupported
A Large Minority trip leader and a local guide ride with you. A backup vehicle carries your luggage, tools and a mechanic, with 24/7 phone backup throughout.
These rides are for confident motorcyclists, not first-timers. You'll need a full motorcycle licence, an International Driving Permit with a motorcycle endorsement, and experience of long days on mountain roads and mixed surfaces. If you've ridden the Alps, the Atlas or Vietnam's Ha Giang Loop, you're ready.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a motorcycle licence?
Yes, no exceptions. You need a valid full motorcycle licence and an International Driving Permit with a motorcycle endorsement. Getting these sorted is your responsibility.
How experienced do I need to be?
You should be confident on mountain roads and mixed surfaces, and comfortable with 4–6 hours in the saddle, switchbacks, rough patches and the odd truck (or yak). These are rides for discovering a country, not endurance events.
What bike will I ride?
Every rider gets their own bike, matched to the terrain. In Bhutan it's a Royal Enfield Himalayan 450. Each trip page lists its bike. Pillion places are available.
What happens to my luggage?
It travels in the backup vehicle, not on your bike. Load it in the morning and it's waiting at the hotel that evening.
What insurance do I need?
Travel insurance covering emergency and medical costs for the full trip is a condition of joining. Check that it covers riding a motorcycle. Third-party insurance comes with the bike hire.
Do I need my own riding gear?
Yes. Bring a riding jacket, trousers, gloves and proper boots. Helmets are provided.
